The UMN Duluth Philosophy program hosts philosophy talks on a variety of philosophical topics presented by philosophical experts. They are community events in addition to integration of the discursive nature of philosophy into our curriculum. Students in our major also need to attend a minimum of 12 colloquium talks during the course of their major in order to achieve credit for PHIL 3900.
