This seminar will explore patterns of sexual risk behaviors, pregnancy and childbearing among U.S. adolescents over time, with an emphasis on disparities among young people from various social groups. Evidence-based approaches for preventing teen pregnancy--including clinical services, comprehensive sexuality education, and youth development programs--will be examined. Key considerations for practice and policy will be posed.
