Artemisia Seminar - "Be Who You Are: How to Avoid the Attack of the Body-Snatchers"

We are frequently given messages that we need to behave and operate within very tight norms within our work environment in order to be successful, or sometimes even accepted. This talk will focus on Joana Montenegro's perspective on this very important issue and the downsides of going along with these powerful but toxic messages.

Joana Montenegro is the Vice President of Dairy Foods Research and Development at Land O’Lakes and has a huge passion for learning organizations. Prior to her role as VP, Joana has lead strategic technology development, new product development teams as well as aggressive margin enhancement efforts. She was born in Africa, grew up in England and Portugal, but has lived in Minnesota for 19 years.

Joana has a Ph.D. in non-thermal pasteurization of food from the University of Minnesota and has 18 years’ experience in the food industry, having taken roles both in research and development, sales, and operations.
