Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, participants should be better able to:
- Describe malnutrition and sarcopenia and why they are important to evaluate for in children with chronic disease
- Review the components of body composition and tools used for assessment
- Understand what body composition tools are most appropriate for children depending on the underlying clinical situation
