Speaker: Matt Glasow, PharmD, MBA, Clinical Consultant at
Milliman IntelliScript (bio)
Speaker Bio: Matt graduated with his PharmD and MBA from Drake University in 2019. Following graduation, he pursued a PGY1 residency with HealthPartners in the Twin Cities where he strengthened his clinical knowledge in their ambulatory care clinics and developed managed care skills working for their health plan. Today, he draws on these experiences in his role as Clinical Consultant for Milliman IntelliScript. In this role, Matt educates clients on the optimal use of IntelliScript’s claims data and decision support tools that assist in insurance underwriting. In his free time Matt enjoys spending time outside, attending concerts, and exploring new restaurants near his home in Chicago (
bio).
Objectives: Following the presentation, the attendees should be able to:
- Identify at least three nontraditional careers opportunities for pharmacists.
- Describe strategies to prepare yourself for a nontraditional pharmacist career path
