This PILL-Rx session focused on Self-administered Hormonal Contraceptive Prescribing.

In 2020, The Minnesota Legislature passed a law allowing pharmacists to independently prescribe self-administered hormonal contraceptives, yet four years later there are still questions and barriers to implementation of this clinical opportunity.  In this session, Samantha Angerman from CVS will share their process for implementation of pharmacist prescribed self-administered hormonal contraception protocol, and the lessons learned along the way.
