Ola Bajer and Kristen Mark, PhD, MPH, present: The Power of "Good" Sex-Ed: Results from a US National Sample

Sexual health education in the United States is inconsistent at best and harmful at worst, with much of it integrating shame-based messages that linger long into adulthood.  But what happens when someone actually receives "good" sex ed?  This talk will feature new data collected from a national US sample of 1,245 adults and discuss a variety of topics, including attitudes toward abortion, sexual shame, sexual pleasure and satisfaction, and attitudes toward sex, among others.  We will discuss the benefits of "good" sex ed.
