Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, participants should be better able to:
1. Understand the physiologic mechanisms behind the phenomenon of linear catch up growth.
2. Recognize the importance of adequate iron intake during linear catch up growth.
3. Recognize the importance of efforts to provide screening for malnutrition and anemia in children in orphanages around the world.
