Now that the Department of Justice has issued a new digital accessibility rule under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, it is a great time to learn (or re-learn) the basics of accessibility. Join us for an overview of the seven core skills, using the Office for Digital Accessibility (formerly Accessible U) site as a guide. Faculty, instructors, and staff who contribute digital content to public University course and web sites, including documents posted on these sites, will benefit from attending this session.
Christina Goodland (c-good@umn.edu) is a product owner in the Office of Information Technology. She has worked on University websites for many years. One of her current roles is coordinating and building the Office for Digital Accessibility site.
