Objectives: Upon completion of the activity, participants should be better able to: 1. Identify the evidence supporting the use of ICS-Formoterol as a rescue inhaler in GINA and NAEPP guidelines, and gaps in current evidence. 2. Explore the obstacles to implement SMART as a pediatrician in Minnesota and propose potential solutions. 3. Gain confidence in prescribing SMART for a child with asthma, and develop a framework for its application in clinic, hospital, and school environments.
