Seminar Topic: How to establish a “health equity dashboard” to disaggregate health outcomes by race, ethnicity, and language to identity both disparities and successes amongst subgroup populations.
Objectives: Following the presentation, the attendees should be able to:
- Define key health equity terminology
Review the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Health Equity Framework
Outline methodology to disaggregate health outcomes for identification of health disparities
Discuss application of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to address and reduce health disparities
