Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, participants should be better able to:
1. Learn about FGM/C, it's prevalence and the mind set behind this practice
2. Describe the different types of FGM/C and the short and long term medical implications
3. Discuss clinical management options for patients with FGM/C related pelvic floor disorders
4. Gain skills in discussing FGM/C with parents and adolescents in a culturally sensitive manner
