To launch National Donate Life Month 2022, Lions Gift of Sight (LGS) held a flag raising celebration at our University Enterprise Laboratories (UEL)  home. About 50 people joined us for the April 1 event.

Jodi Altenhofen, LGS Community Liaison, was emcee. Speakers were: LGS Executive Director, Sean Poppoff, living kidney donor; Angela McArthur, MPH, Director, University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest program; Bevan Yueh, MD, MPH, CEO, UMPhysicians; and Joshua Hou, MD, LGS Medical Director. The Director of Operations at UEL, Jay Beyer-Kropuenske, the recipient of a donated kidney, raised the flag.
