This webinar will provide case studies of the formation and impact of
accessibility committees in two different areas of the University of
Minnesota. Presenters from the Libraries and the Duluth campus will tell
the stories of their committees’ formation and advocacy efforts. They
will also discuss the successes, challenges, and horizons facing these
kinds of working groups in academic libraries. Participants will gain
insight into how the presenters' experiences can be applied in their own
departments or campuses and how the two groups have scoped and
implemented accessibility projects within their unique organizational
cultures.
